    Description

European delivery Ghibli with kilometer per hour speedometer, Euro side marker lights and no emission controls.
    VIN 154 152makes this the 76
    th
    car built.
We have taken the car twice on the 500+ mile round trip to participate at the Concorso Italiano during car week in Monterey including driving across the stage in 2017 for the 50
    th
    anniversary of the Ghibli.
All original drivetrain and good compression in all cylinders.
Mechanical service at JML Maserati specialist in Santa Barbara in late 2019 included rebuilding the 4 Weber carburetors, new sparkplugs, fuel filter, fuse block cover, coolant hoses, rebuild brake calipers and master cylinder, new clutch master cylinder, rebuild steering box, new brake boosters, new brake hoses, and some driveline components.
Recently had the starter rebuilt and put in a new battery.
The car starts, runs and drives very well.
Pirelli tires look like new.  The mileage shown on the speedometer photo is in
kilometers, I have converted to showing miles for this listing.
Please note this is not a 99 point show car, it is a condition 3 or 4 (“good” not excellent) weekend driver.
Sometime along the way it was painted red, the original color appears to be medium blue.
There are one or two small oil leaks at the front of the engine, these are gaskets that are difficult to replace without pulling the engine out of the car.
The clutch has been replaced and is in good condition, although the dual clutches are difficult to adjust, it can be difficult to put the car in reverse without shutting off the engine, shifting to reverse, and then starting up again.
The car has been in places that get snow before and has had minor rust and professional rust repair.
There is no visible rust I can find now.
No exterior rust and no holes in the floorboards.  The interior is original other than new carpet, seats are OK with no rips or tears but seat bottoms could use new foam rubber.
The original radio is missing and I have not tried to make the heater work.
The speedometer bounces around, typical for the old Smiths gauges.
This is a 54year old car and is sold with no warranty, potential buyers are encouraged to make contact and inspect the car in Ventura California.
Seller will help with shipping arrangements as needed but the buyer is responsible for shipping cost.
Don’t need any trades or particular payment method, just pay within 10 days.
Please have the funds available if buying or sending an offer.  Please email via "contact seller" with any questions or further photos of areas you would like to see.  I don't have the ebay chat app, so please email via contact seller.   Thanks for looking.
